Grow house dropped from medical marijuana dispensary application on Hull's Nantasket Ave. – The Patriot Ledger

HULL – An application for a medical marijuana dispensary, grow house and manufacturing center that drew fierce support and opposition in Hull is getting a little more palatable to residents.

Sean Power, co-owner of Latitude 42, said during a meeting Wednesday night that he is dropping the grow house and manufacturing from his proposal for the former Atlantic Aquarium at 121 Nantasket Ave. Instead, the building would house only a medical marijuana dispensary.

Power said the company found a location in the western part of the state to grow and manufacture marijuana.

Power said he has been in talks with the town’s attorney, Jim Lampke, about how to move forward with the application. The board voted to consider it complete in February, which triggered a series of deadlines.
